Wide, dark silhouette of an empty dining room with tables facing tall windows onto rooftops

Private events

The back table, the whole room, or the grass outside.

Private dinners cooked the way any other night is cooked: one menu, off the same fire, carried out when it is ready. What changes is how much of the room is yours.

Three sizes, one kitchen

We do private dinners the way we do an ordinary Tuesday. One menu, written for your group the week before, cooked on the same fire and carried out on platters. Nobody orders, nobody splits a check, and the kitchen can work around anything you tell us about in advance.

Send the date, the number of people, and roughly what you want to spend a head. Dev writes back within a day with what is possible on that night, including the nights when the answer is that it is not.

Three ways to do it

  1. Dining table with pink flowers seen through an arched doorway lit by pendant lamps
    Up to twelve

    The back table

The long table behind the screen, with the rest of the room carrying on around you. No room fee, four courses at $85 a head, and a minimum spend we tell you before you decide anything.

  2. Long table set with white plates, folded napkins, and stemware beside teal upholstered chairs
    Up to forty-eight

    The whole room

Every chair in the building, usually on a Monday when we would otherwise be shut. One menu for everybody, chosen with you a week ahead, and the bar open for as long as you want it open.

  3. Wood high-top table and stools on grass strung with string lights at dusk
    May to October

    Outside

The twelve seats on the grass behind the building, from the first warm week to the first cold one. Good for a drinks party: the food stays to things you can eat standing up, and the lights stay on until ten.

Ask about a date.

Send the date, how many people, and anything the group cannot eat. You will hear back within a day.
