How it works
Two ways to get a table here: this form, or the phone. Both reach the same person. Dev answers requests in the order they arrive, usually between four and five in the afternoon.
Six seats at the bar and two tables are held back every night for whoever walks in, so a Tuesday at six is often possible with no plan at all.
You are booked when you hear back from us, not when you press send.

Seven lines. The more specific the better: if only one of two times would work, or you would take the bar rather than wait, say so in the note and it makes the job easier.
Call instead
For tonight, for a change of plan, or for a party bigger than the form allows, the phone is faster. Somebody picks it up from four o'clock on the days we open.

Dinner Tuesday to Sunday, and brunch on Sunday from ten until two. Closed Monday.
Before you book
How far ahead should we book?
A few days for two, a week for six or more, and as far ahead as you can manage around a holiday weekend. If the night you want is full, ask to be told about a cancellation; there is one most weeks.
Do you keep tables for walk-ins?
Yes. The six seats at the bar are first come, and two tables are held back every night. Early and late are the easiest, and a Tuesday is easier than a Saturday by a wide margin.
What if we are running late?
Call. A table is held fifteen minutes as a matter of course, and longer once we know you are on your way.
Can you work around an allergy?
Usually. Put it in the note when you request the table so the kitchen sees it in the afternoon rather than during service. Vegetarian and gluten free are straightforward; tell us about anything else and we will say honestly whether we can do it well.
Are children welcome?
Yes, any time we are open, and Sunday brunch is the easiest of them. There are two high chairs, and the kitchen will put together something plain without being asked twice.
How do we book for more than eight?
Anything over eight is arranged by hand rather than through the form. Send the date and the number through the contact page, or call, and we will talk about whether the back table is the right answer.
